Below I outline my two Childbirth Education offerings, private online sessions and boutique in-person group classes in Burnaby.

My hope is to illuminate your body’s anatomy, natural hormonal matrix, and the power of your mindset.

When moving through your birth process this knowledge will allow complete trust in what your mind/body/spirit is capable of in one of the most incredible, lifechanging ways.

Private Online Birth Education

For busy parents-to-be that desire childbirth education on their own terms.

We will cover anatomy, labour and birth, comfort measures, common interventions (and how to avoid them), navigating communication, what to expect early postpartum, breastfeeding/feeding and newborn care.

You will also receive a workbook to help you develop your birth values (plans change, values don’t!), plus a tonne of resources to refrerence.

Online BIRTH EDUCATION (3 SESSIONS, 2 HOURS EACH)

• Dates: Weekday evenings. Flexible dates/times based on your schedule.

• Location: Online on Zoom.

• Structure: Three 2-hour online classes.

• Investment: $300.

Childbirth Education in Burnaby

Katherine aims to demystify childbirth to allow for you to feel empowered as you move closer to meeting your baby.

You can expect comprehensive childbirth eduction and some fun too! We will cover anatomy, labour and birth, comfort measures, common interventions (and how to avoid them), navigating communication, what to expect early postpartum, breastfeeding/feeding and newborn care.

You will also receive a workbook to help you develop your birth values (plans change, values don’t!), plus a tonne of resources to refrerence.

In-person Birth Education (One Day Session)

• Dates: To be determined.

• Location: Little Words Studio. 204-3355 North Road, Burnaby (Upper Parking Lot)

• Structure: Held from 9:30am to 4:30pm with an hour lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm, typically on a Sunday.

• Investment: $225 per couple. (or mother-to-be/support person)
